About Cineindicator

CineIndicator is a non-commercial research and education project aiming to enhance understanding of online film ratings (scores) and their interpretation. On this site you can find:

• for individual films, a summary of ratings from different sites, together with an aggregate score, the CineIndicator,
• statistical analysis to help interpret the ratings,
• lists and commentary highlighting, for example, particular genres or artists.

Analysis draws on a database of over 100,000 ratings. The site is free to use, contains no advertising, does not require you to register, and doesn’t contain any tracking of individuals’ data. CineIndicator’s work may include errors or inadvertently omit material. Please let us know if you find anything and we will endeavour to correct it.
